Statement regarding cookies
In order to improve your online experience and ensure the proper functioning of this site, we sometimes need to store cookies (small data files) on your equipment.
What is a cookie?
Cookies, or other similar tracking devices, are data used by a server to send status information to a user's browser, and for that browser to return status information to the originating server.
Status information can be, for example, a session ID, language, expiration date, response domain, etc.
Cookies are used to store status information during their validity period when a browser accesses the different pages of a website or when the browser later returns to that website.
Only the issuer of a cookie can read or modify the information contained therein.
There are different types of cookies:
- Session cookies, which are temporary and deleted as soon as you leave your browser or the site
- Persistent cookies that remain on your device until their lifetime expires or until you delete them using your browser's features
Why use Cookies?
We use cookies and other tracking devices for the following main purposes:
- to manage your user session
- to save your cookie choices
- to adapt the display and optimize the user experience according to your preferences
- to implement security measures
Which cookies are used on this site?
Strictly necessary cookies: These cookies are essential for the operation of a website. Without these cookies the website will not function properly. We use:
- Session ID
- CleanTalk (prevent spam on our forms)
The ADVAC website uses specific cookies which are essential for its proper functioning. One is a cookie used to create a session ID for the user so that the system itself can identify the user as a unique and individual user, distinct from any other visitor to the website. This information is not used or stored outside ADVAC systems and is only stored temporarily while the user accesses his account pages and other pages requiring unique and secure access. Without this cookie, access would not be secure, so it is very important.
Functional cookies: These are cookies that are used to improve the functioning of the website. For example, cookies that store the email address and password you provided when you registered on a previous visit to this website. The use of functional cookies may therefore enable us to provide content that is tailored to your interests and may save you time by allowing you to re-register or re-enter information when you visit this website again or when you try to access certain sections reserved for ADVAC members. We use:
Used to offer ADVAC members the option to store their identification data so that they do not have to re-enter their user ID and password each time they access the private section of the site.
Third-Party cookies: These are cookies that are set up by third parties and are used for various services (for example, for website analysis purposes).
Note: The ADVAC website does not use any third-party cookies (Google Analytics or other...).
Administration and deletion of cookies
You can set your web browser in such a way that cookies are generally prevented from being saved to your device and/or that you are asked each time whether you are in agreement with cookies being enabled. You can also at any time delete cookies that have been enabled again. You can find out how all this works in detail from your browser’s help function.
Please note that generally deactivating cookies may lead to functional restrictions of our website.
Updating of legal information
We reserve the right to make any changes and corrections to this policy. Please check this page regularly for changes and new information.
